Mike’s Routine:
A1 – Flat DB Skull Crushers (4 Sets)
Reps – 10, Tempo – 2020, Rest – 90 sec
B1 – Cable Pressdown (4 Sets)
Reps – 10, Tempo – 2011, Rest – 90 sec (Final Set Dropset)
C1 – Overhead Rope Extension (3 Sets)
Reps – 10–12, Tempo – 2011, Rest – 70 sec
D1 – Feel Elevated Bench Dips (3 Sets)
Reps – 15, Tempo – 1010, Rest – 60 sec (Final Set To Failure)
E1 – Standing BB Curls (4 Sets)
Reps – 8, Tempo – 2010, Rest – 100 sec
F1 – Alternating DB Hammer Curls (4 Sets)
Reps – 20, Tempo – 1010, Rest – 90 sec
G1 – Standing EZ Cable Curls (4 Sets)
Reps – 10, Tempo – 2010, Rest – 90 sec (Final Set Dropset)
Example of 2010 tempo:
2 second negative (eccentric phase)
0 second rest in lengthened position
1 second concentric
0 second holding contraction in shortened position
(Even though it says 0 second holding the contraction I will still always try to squeeze it. Just not for a whole second.)

Mike. Your training/coaching style is top notch mate. I appreciate your open-mindedness in regards to your technique tips and basically all other info (nutrition,lifestyle), also myself being a fitness trainer/coach I keep that as one of my rules to always be open-minded when speaking with people and training a client(s), or group fitness- especially speaking from anywhere up to 30 or so people at once, it not only engages but informs them with relevant, fundamental & helpful information which is a key to creating the motivation & drive/intensity to really benefit gym members and patrons. Lastly, i like to always look below the surface, assessing people or clients moods and body language and even their attitude/mood when speaking is important. By assessing it allows me to adapt to any situation and deliver honest safe information and exercises. I can tell your attitude is one which has made you very successful in the fitness world & A for attitude is where it starts with any goals or relationships in life I believe, a good attitude makes other traits you have automatically fall in to line and prosper. The most important info i have learnt from watching your videos is the inportance of keeping posture/form & technique mainly the tip of keeping shoulders back and down throughout movements where applicable. I often tell myself this when training & can really feel and notice the efficiency/pump/technique improvements. I used to think when i was a baby in gym years that intensity is everything.
